About the Course
This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work to deliver basic first aid to people in a range of emergency first aid situations.
The aim of the First Aid at Work qualification is to enable you to develop the skills and knowledge required to deal with a range of first aid incidents including: basic life support, anaphylaxis, head and spinal injuries, asthma, bleeds and much more.
PRE-REQUISITES
Learners must be 16 years of age or above on the first day of the course. It is advisable that learners have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to deliver CPR.
Learners must have all pre-requisites in place before the start of the course. Qualification certificates cannot be issued if all pre-requisites are not met before the start of the course, post course submissions will not be accepted.
